Hello all, I am Turkish, but I live in London. I have been teaching English for more than twenty-five years. I have studied English Linguistics and graduated as a linguist then I completed my master’s degree on English Language Teaching. I have worked in many different high schools for 15 years and in the last ten years I have been lecturing at the universities' language preparation classes (General Eng.) in addition to faculty classes (Academic Eng.) I have written a course book together with my colleagues on teaching English as a foreign language in Turkey at A1 and A2 levels. I am a professional on material design and development for language classes. I have been also teaching Turkish during my professional years. Now in London, I have focused mostly on teaching Turkish at any levels for secondary, high school, university students including adults according to their needs. I basically make a pre-test assessment at the beginning of my lessons and learn the needs of my student and at the end of our courses we repeat it with a post -test. Every lesson should have a goal starting from a warmup and ending with a follow up. I apply conscious learning methods. Especially, for academic purposes I prefer Content based language teaching.
