I was born in Benin and left my country at the age of two. My family and I moved to Nigeria where we lived for 11 years and then moved to Cameroon where I did my schooling and obtained my O’level certificate. For the above reasons I grew up as a bilingual as we often traveled to French and English speaking countries such as France and the Uk. I currently live in Italy where I moved for studies in translation and interpretation. I graduated in 1999 and have lived and worked here since then as a private teacher and in private schools and companies.
I feel comfortable as an Italian teacher too though it’s not my mother tongue because I graduated with Italian as my first foreign language and have lived in Italy for the past 30 years besides being married to an Italian which helps a lot:).
I adopt an inclusive learning method which provides all students with access to flexible learning choices and effective paths to achieve their goals and experience a sense of belonging.
As a facilitator, students assume a much more active role in the learning process. In this method, students learn from and are continually assessed. I also use devices like laptops and tablets including the internet.
