FOREIGN LANGUAGE COURSES

Hi everybody!
My name is Simone. I’m 23 years old and I’ve got a BA in Applied Foreign Languages from Altiero Spinelli Municipal School for Interpreters and Translation. What’s my dream? Working for the European Institutions. Meanwhile, I worked as a steward for events, I worked in the hotels as a tour leader, I worked as a waiter and….. I taught foreign languages! I started with Latin, English, French, Spanish and Chinese to middle school, high school and university students. In 2017 I worked for two months as an Italian teacher in a Chinese cultural association, where I taught Italian to students from 6 to 17 years old. First of all, I like to teach people not to be afraid when they speak another language, that’s why I immediately start the conversation using foreign languages. I tend to focalise more on pronunciation, which is fundamental for me. However I also think reading and writing are equally important; maybe at the beginning you’ll start reading school texts and then we’ll move on newspaper articles. Culture is also really important. It’s good that students understand the geographical widespread of the languages they study and also that they know some traditions of those countries. I also like to use for this purpose videos I find on the Internet (especially Youtube). If you’ll choose me, you’ll improve not only your language knowledge, but also your culture in general…….
