Certified teacher of Italian language

Hello! My name is Manuela. I am Italian and I am ready to accompany you on a stimulating learning path of the Italian language and culture.
The desire to understand people of other countries has pushed me to study foreign languages since I was in high school. After linguistic studies at the University (English, Russian, French), I have been working for a long time in the industrial sector, which gave me the opportunity to travel a lot around the world and to live and work abroad for several years. I experienced on myself the importance of being able to use in a proper way a foreign language to better communicate in every situation as well as the importance to understand the local culture of the country you are visiting.
Teaching is a new challenge for me but I professionally prepared for my new career.
I completed a Master in teaching Italian as a foreign language at the Catholic University of Milan, I got CEDILS certification (certification in teaching Italian as second language) from Ca' Foscari University in Venice and during my internship I specialized in online teaching. Presently I am teaching to adults who are in Italy to find job as well as to university students taking part in the Erasmus programme.
My lessons will be based on a practical approach to the use of the language. Based on the interests and needs of the each student, I will build a path in which in each lesson we will practice all the skills: listening comprehension, speaking, writing, reading. We will go to the discovery of grammar rules in a funny way so you'll remember them with no pain. In each lesson I will propose as well a cultural or social aspect to get to know Italy better and to allow the student to have the tools to understand the Italian mentality and appreciate the Italian lifestyle.
I will use both original material created by me and the latest language manuals with the support of digital resources (interactive exercises, quiz, video, audio). We will explore different situations from the simplest, like going shopping, to the most complex, like having a job interview so that you'll be able to face them with no worries.
