Hi everyone! My name is Claudia and I'm from Ancona.
I have 3 years of experience in teaching Italian to foreigners belonging to different cultural and educational backgrounds. I've been teaching illiterate migrants, adults, children, teenage students, and university students.
I got a Master's degree in Modern Languages for Communication and International Cooperation, and I got DILS-PG level 2 certificate for teaching Italian as a second/foreign language from the University for foreigners of Perugia.
My teaching method is based on communication: the first need any language learner needs to meet is to communicate with natives. Therefore, I focus on listening and speaking. To establish and improve listening, my classes are in Italian; I use English only when difficult grammar topics are taught. The speaking skill is practiced through watching videos, observing pictures, making dialogues, or watching movies, depending on the level of learners.
I usually use books, digital material, and sources one can easily find on the Internet.
