I am a friendly, enthusiastic language teacher, who will quickly improve your English. Engaging with and helping others is a joy for me, my lessons cater for all. Whether you are a beginner or an advanced scholar, massive improvements will be achieved through interactions with me. I have 3 years of language teaching experience, working with children and young adults with low-level English. Through my detailed learning programmes, each student gained communication skills beyond all expectations. I employ techniques such as TPR (total physical response), using body language to teach a new word or expression. Combining TPR with phonetics & pronunciation is extremely effective, especially when students freely express their thoughts and feelings on their chosen subjects.
Learning tools display one's unique personality, I use a large drawing board with coloured pens. Art and education are two of my biggest passions, I love to integrate them. At the University of Lincoln, England, I completed a BA in Illustration - receiving an 'Upper-Second Degree Honours.' I make paintings to illustrate topics, these help students associate images with words in playful contexts. Soft toys and action figures also feature in story-telling etc.
Getting to know pupils and being quickly aware of their abilities/levels of English, are crucial aspects of ensuring successful lessons.
