My name is Amina, I’m Mexican, and I have almost 3 decades of experience teaching Spanish, which is my mother language. Regarding studies, I have a major as a Chemist Biologist, a Master in Cytopathology, a doctorate in Education, an FCE certification in English, level B2.

I’ve taught oral and written communication in Spanish to Engineering students, focused on aspects such as formal writing, correct spelling, oral presentations, job interviews and professional skills in general.

So, if you are an English speaker, interested in basic, intermediate or advanced Spanish practice, rest assured that I will be a good choice for you, with a variety of different subjects, whether professional or entertainment-related, depending on your interests.

My name is Anna and I graduated in 2016 from Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona with a BA in English and Spanish Studies and a Master in Teaching Spanish as a Second Language in Universidad de Barcelona and Universidad Pompeu Fabra.

I worked as Spanish teacher in different languges schools and I also made collaboration as an Online Spanish teacher with Groningen University. In all my experiences as a teacher I have always tried to make students enjoy classes as much as possible so that their learning is positive.

In my classes I try to teach in a didactic way based on a more communicative approach although I always adapt to the needs of the students.

My name is Maja and I am a CELTA certified teacher holding a Bachelor's degree in English language and literature. My teaching experience spans over 15 years and it encompasses work with both children and adults. Time flies fast when you are having fun, some might say. And teaching for me is exactly that – fun.
During my career, I have worked with all levels and ages, both in primary and private language schools and now in an online setting.
Working with the little ones must be the most challenging but also the most rewarding aspect of this job. In my virtual classroom, I strive to constantly engage and activate my students by using props, visuals and gestures. In addition, creating a child-friendly environment and catering for students’ needs are essential for learning to take place.
In my spare time, every now and then I get away from the city and spend a bit of time in the great outdoors, hiking or camping. Tai Chi is something that I have recently discovered. And I absolutely love it!

My name is Yaledis. I am a Petroleum Engineer. I am from Colombia but I am living in Hungary now. Living in another country has given me an appreciation for other cultures and deepened my understanding of the Spanish language by seeing it from a new perspective. I love to learn about people from different backgrounds and hear their stories so I've been happy to be a Spanish teacher for the past few years.

I have 3+ years of tutoring experience. I have worked with students of different ages and levels: beginners, intermediate or advanced. I have worked in high schools, online teaching platforms, and also as a freelance teacher, so I have extensive experience in teaching methods to make sure that my students meet their goals. I have experience creating pedagogical projects that allow daily interactions, interactive and playful practices that facilitate the learning of a second language. Likewise, I have helped high school students prepare for the ICFES state exam, a standardized test applied to students who are in the last year of high school in Colombia in order to give them official results that allow them to access higher education, for which I have experience teaching students with specific objectives.

Most of my classes are given in Spanish, so you can start thinking in Spanish faster, reducing the need to translate from your native language. I can speak in English if it is absolutely necessary.

I make explanations of grammar and vocabulary in communicative contexts, in this way you can begin to integrate what you have learned in different dialogues. I will create different situations that can arise when communicating, for example, ordering food in a restaurant, going shopping, asking for directions to get to a place, etc.

My classes follow a structural approach that will allow you to understand the easiest grammar rules first and then the more complicated ones. For this, I use the curriculum designed by the Miguel de Cervantes Institute. I use role-plays, games, readings, videos, audios, movies, articles, and mind maps

My lessons are student-centered, where I will guide the student and they will be doing most of the talking. I usually ask a lot of questions so that you can practice your speaking. I am an energetic and positive teacher and like to have fun with my students. I believe in positive reinforcement and letting the student know it is okay to make mistakes.
