Past continuous tense in Bulgarian

My name is Zlatko. I believe that learning Bulgarian online with me gives you the best of both worlds: fast progress and enjoyment.Taking on the challenge to learn a new language is impressive. The reasons might be different. Some people give it a go because they just like new things. Others need to learn a new language because they are moving to a country where the language is spoken. All lessons are interlinked to promote better and more memorable learning, with the flexibility to pick out key sections to focus on certain language points. All language is clearly signposted and scaffolded so there is great clarity of progression of learning - students can really feel they are getting somewhere.

Here are a few tips on how to get the most out of every lesson:
1. Review what you covered in your previous lesson.
2. Focus on things you had difficulty with. I will definitely go over them.
3. It is always a great idea to take notes during your lessons. It helps you stay more focused on what you are learning.
4. Feel free to ask me if anything has come up since your last lesson that you want clarification on. Your questions do not have to be prior lesson related, maybe you are just curious about how to say something.
5. Be sure you have completed your homework assignments. If you were not able to complete them, make notes about what stumped you. Were the instructions not clear enough, was the vocabulary beyond your level of comprehension, were the grammar rules too overwhelming, was there too much homework for the time you had planned to spend on it, and so on.
6. Contact me prior to your next lesson if there are any issues or changes you would like to make me aware of so I can have a chance to make changes to your learning plan.

I've graduated university from University of Leeds, United Kingdom and I’m also certified in teaching English as a foreign language (TEFL). I come from the town of Vidin, Bulgaria. I am a qualified English and Bulgarian teacher. I graduated back in 1972 from Sofia University with an MA in English Philology and Bulgarian Philology as a second subject. Since then I have spent most of my professional career teaching Bulgarian students.

First of all, we will have a 20-30-minute trial lesson during which we can get to know each other, set expectations towards the lessons and schedule the timetable. The next step is simple - we start learning the language of your choice!

Hello All,
It is nice to meet you and I would be more than glad to discuss your learning goals in a trail lesson of 30 minutes so we could know each other better. I have a level 3 award in Education by YMCA, where I have planned and delivered a lesson on the topic Bulgarian alphabet to English students. On the other hand I am currently finishing my study in Bulgarian Linguistics and Literature at the Sofia's university. I spent a few years in England where I have been a Learning assistant for ESOL classes, which is teaching English as a second language. I also have a degree from University of Sheffield in Business Administration.
Before starting the lessons we will have to do an assessment to see the level of the student. Once this is done and our goals are set, even if it is for a few lessons only, we will adapt the student centered methodology. The lessons will be interactive, with a participative style -grammar rules will be discussed, speaking , writing and vocabulary.

For Bulgarian- filmcards , cards with pictures and names in Bulgarian. Printed materials in regards to Bulgarian language.
Lessons will be delivered in English or/and Bulgarian.

My name is Monika and I am fluent Bulgarian and English speaker. I can help you to learn Bulgarian and/or English if you are a beginner or if you want to prepare for your exams in Bulgarian grammar. I am passionate about languages because I found it easy to study languages in general. I took my final exam in Bulgarian grammar and literature with A. I also graduated Glasgow Caledonian University, which of course required IELTS.

I would discribe myself as a very patient, supportive and highly motivated person. I don't like to put pressure on my students because the brain works better when the focus goes on the learning materials, not on the stress.

I want to help everyone, who wants to learn Bulgarian and/or English without any struggle.

Здравейте, казвам се Моника и перфектно владея български и английски език. Мога да ти помогна да научиш български и/или английски, ако си начинаещ или да те подготвя за изпит по български език. Харесвам да уча езици, защото го намирам за нещо, с което се справям лесно. Средното си образование завърших с 5.80 на матурата по български език и литература. След него, завърших и бакалавър в Glasgow Caledonian University, който разбира се изискваше езиков изпит по английски - IELTS. 

Бих описала себе си като много спокоен, насърчителен и силно мотивиран човек. Не обичам да подлагам учениците си под напрежение,  тъй като мозъкът работи по-добре, когато фокусът е насочен към учебната дейност, а не към стреса.
