Hello, my name is Rosa, and I am Italian. I live near Florence and I am an Italian teacher for foreigners.
I really enjoy traveling and learning about new cultures and traditions. That’s why teaching Italian to foreigners allows me to travel through their stories and knowledge. I love reading and dancing, and I am very interested in art and literature. For this reason, I often suggest lessons on these topics if I think they might interest or please my students.
In high school, I studied languages and literature, particularly English, French, and Spanish, earning both the Italian and the French diploma. I graduated in Foreign Languages and Literatures from the University of Florence and in Italian Language and Culture for Foreigners from the University of Bologna. Additionally, I obtained the CEDILS certificate at the University of Venice, which qualifies me to teach Italian to foreigners.
I have been a teacher for about two years, and I have taught and continue to teach Italian in both migratory contexts and to students who want to learn the language for personal pleasure or professional reasons. Because of this, I have a very flexible teaching method that is attentive to the needs of each individual student. Furthermore, my knowledge of languages allows me to assist my students using their native language.
My lessons are based on my students' interests and aim to teach them Italian in a fun and effective way. For this reason, I enjoy proposing games and interactive, dynamic activities to avoid the classic frontal lessons.
