Teacher Joy's Recommendation Letter

This letter is written to recommend Miss Joy Mashigo, who was working at TBCC as a Sunday school teacher since 2010 - 2013.

At our Sunday school our main aim is to teach the children the word of God through bible verses and story telling. We also look at the well-being of the child and Joy went as far as understanding their cognitive development as she also published a book call Re-Thinking Learning spaces for Grade R learners for her Bachelor's degree thesis.

TBCC Sunday school teachers are mostly teacher by profession and understand that when we teach bible verses it helps to improve their memory skills, grammar, pronunciation, listening and speaking skills.

Joy Mashigo who was a full time Sunday teacher at that time, focussed on fine tuning the fine and big muscle skills of the child by developing dance movements for the children as well as game-time so the children would interact with one another while building friendships. She also has bible lesson classes where she would read out a story and ask questions as well as taught memory verse do the child could have some homework.
She is a punctual person and never missed any of her classes. We always knew we could count on her.
