Hello! I am Teacher Bevei, I teach English and Filipino. I am a Master's Degree Holder, Master of Science in Teaching English, and TEFL certificate holder. I have been teaching in the academe for five years now and experienced teaching foreign students in an ESL Company. I teach students from 13-20 years old back in the academe and I used to teach students from 5-40 years old in my past ESL company. I vary in my styles and methods in teaching because I always consider my students' abilities and levels. As a teacher, I need to meet the needs of my learner to have well-rounded, fun, and satisfying lessons or discussions. I always make sure that in my class my students will always engage and do more of the talking than I. I act as a facilitator and a catalyst only. I am fond of giving fun and enjoyable drills or activities that will establish mastery and practice of the lesson learned. I always appreciate my students' performance and effort. I also use TPR’s (Total Physical Response) in my class for the communication to be easily understood and I also enable my students to share their thoughts freely. I do give feedback in a constructive way to help my learner improve. In my class I will be using, Texts, PowerPoint Presentations, Pictures, and Clips to increase mastery and a better understanding of the lesson.
