Formation:

Bachelor of Arts, Communication
I earned a B.A. in Communication from UC San Diego, with a focus in journalism.
Expérience professionnelle:
Digital Media Producer, Writer
NBC Universal
2015-2017
San Diego, U.S.A.
I started my journey with NBC Universal as an intern with NBC 7 San Diego. My job was to write stories for broadcast, shadow reporters in the field and work assignment desk. I was then hired as a full-time freelance writer for broadcast. I would write stories based on information received in our newsroom solely for broadcast news. A few months later I was hired as a Digital Media Producer. As a DMP, I wrote, edited and published news articles on NBC7.com, managed all social media platforms (Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, Snapchat) as well as cut and edit video content for online platforms. As a journalist, I had to learn to think fast on my feet, respond quickly to breaking news and fast-approaching deadlines as well as coordinate with reporters and news anchors in and out of the newsroom to get news to our community as quickly as possible.
English Teacher
Korea Poly School (Sungdong Poly)
2018-2020
Seoul, South Korea
For 2.3 years, I taught English to young students ages 3 to 13 years old in Seoul, South Korea. I created lesson plans for each level by adhering to the strict Poly curriculum, made vocabulary tests, graded essays, workbook and book pages. Each of my lessons included bookwork, fun and academic activities depending on the level and age of my students, as well as projects suitable for each set of students.
