The Education centre was very challenging but amazing place to work. In one time, in my classroom there were kids who were learning Slovak as a foreign language but also kids who were perfectly fluent. My task was to make them all happy and engaged in the classes. It was amazing experience and I learnt a lot during my years there.

This was enriching experience for me especially because of the intensity of one to one classes. It might seems easier, but the amount of work and engagement expected from both teacher and the student is huge. In the Language Institute I became a temporarily tutor for employees of Department of Foreign Affairs in Ireland who were sent to Slovakia. This was a whole new experience, where I was teaching adults for the first time. I realised the importance of difference methods one prefers and different aims my students have.
