I spent almost 16 years with Mexico's major travel company:
- firstly as a travel consultant, in the early days of e-commerce, making sales and reservations online, via telephone and chat, taking care of our customers pre-, during and post-travel.
As a supervisor I was responsible for the performance of a team of travel consultants with regard to sales and customer service.
As Customer Care Coordinator I was responsible for customer service post-travel, leading a team of consultants taking care of customers' queries, complaints and comments after they had travelled to ensure complete satisfaction and customer retention. This extended to the handling of legal cases in Mexico, Argentina, Brazil and Colombia, as well as analysing data to identify areas for opportunity and generate improvements.
As Corporate Travel Coordinator I led the team responsible for all business travel by company executives and VIP customers.
