Dutch Tutor

Hi!! My name is Charonie, but you may call me Cha[my nickname]. I was born and raised in Suriname [South America], where Dutch is spoken as main language. So, my native language is Dutch! I am a very optimistic person who loves helping and encouraging others when they need help or even a shoulder to cry on.

I love teaching!! I do voluntary teaching work in Dutch,Sranantongo [also a language spoken in Suriname].

As a language [Hindi] learner myself, I can relate to your feelings of being nervous and afraid to make mistakes. But, have no fear, for I am here!! ;-) Just be yourself and feel free to make those mistakes. I will patiently help you correcting them.

I want you to see me as a friend who is more than willing to help you improve your Dutch!!
My lessons are always fun and interactive! We will practice a lot by means of dialogues and role-plays. I also believe that speaking is one of the best ways to learn a language!

I know that every student is unique. So, you may choose what teaching style you prefer. Maybe you want to improve your pronunciation, or your reading, writing and listening skills? Or you want to read a book together, review a song/video or you just want to tell me more about yourself or your family and friends? You may say it!
