After growing up in São Paulo Brazil, I returned to my native Holland to study Japanese language and culture at Leiden University. It was always my practice to combine theory and practice in learning to speak Japanese, and as a result I managed to become fluent in conversation, with a solid foundation in the formalitities of speaking correct Japanese in both social and business environments.
