I have an Italian master's degree in Language Sciences (LM-39) from Ca' Foscari University in Venice. My specialization subjects are:
- Teaching and Learning of Foreign Languages (Applied Linguistics),
- Teaching and Learning of Italian as an L2,
- Psycholinguistics.
I have a high level of competence in English (C1 of the CEFR). Additionally, I studied Spanish and German (both B2 of the CEFR).
During my Master course, I did Psycholinguistic studies on the cognitive processes underpinning typical and atypical first and second language acquisition; Pedagogy, and Applied linguistic studies on methods, methodologies, and practices for effective language teaching.
The main skills I developed during my studies are:
- providing effective lessons even in the absence of prior planning
- organizing the didactic contents (authentic or processed) in a propaedeutic way based not only on the difficulty of the target structures but also on the morphosyntactic and lexical characteristics of the original language.
