I started out as an English teacher but quickly rose inside the company. I taught a lot of business English classes and worked with high profile clients from various companies (such as VISA, Panasonic, CitiBanamex, BBVA Bancomer, etc.). When I became an Academic Advisor, I started making tailored programs for them and having one-on-one meetings with them every month to measure their progress, ensure their satisfaction with the programs, and make adjustments when needed. After this, I became Academic Advisory Coordinator and, in addition to my previous duties, I also began designing and holding workshops for teachers to improve their teaching skills. I was also part of a team that developed content for a website that was to be used by teachers in order to make their lesson-planning process easier. During all this time, I never stopped teaching.
