I am a native English speaker. I have been living and teaching in Spain for two years. During this time, I have taught every level from A1 (complete beginner) to C2 (Competency and Proficiency in English). I have taught private one-to-one classes and group classes in an academy. While working in the academy, I have also trained teachers on the TEFL graduate program, these trainees came from different universities around Europe, I trained them to teach using the Communicative Language Method. I hold a CELTA certification, which I feel has given me all of the requisite tools to teach English. The majority of my teaching has been focused around exam preparation and functional, every-day English. I have helped students to prepare for Cambridge, IELTS, TOEFL, Oxford and EOI (The Official School of Languages in Spain) exams, my students have had great success in their exams (98% pass rate). I find teaching rewarding and satisfying, I enjoy it immensely. I am friendly, engaging and helpful. I would consider myself to be a first-rate teacher. I have medical experience as in the past I am a qualified Emergency Medical Technician, I also hold a qualification in Health Science, this puts me in the unique position of being able to teach Medical English. I have taught a number of doctors in the academy previously.
