Before being a teacher I've been a student infact I graduated in languages so I know very well how hard can be learning a new language. I'm interested in music, cinema, literature and I enjoy talking about several topics. I've been teaching since 2009 and in 2012 I've qualified as italian language teacher. I've experience with children and adults, with in company courses, with total beginners as well as with advanced. Also I've succesfully prepared a number of students for the most important english and italian certification (CELI, CILS, FIRST, PET, KET). Over the last years I've became specialized in one-to-one or small groups lessons because in this way I can create a tailored programme for each student. I follow a communicative approach and in my classes there's lot of room for speaking but I don't neglect grammar, listening and writing. I provide you with material, sometimes selfmade, other times taken from books, videos, or songs, but always useful to help you to immerse in the target language! At the end of every lesson I always assign homework in order to revise the things learnt. After training as a pastry chef and studying business administration, I traveled a lot and discovered my interest in languages. To find out more about teaching languages, I decided on further training at the Goethe Institute and completed it. During the Goethe Institute "Learn to teach German" course I was able to give individual language lessons and actively support the examination preparation for the Goethe certificate.

My lessons are needs-oriented. That means that learning goals are discussed with you and based on your level of knowledge. Whether grammar, sentence structure, pronunciation, expression or the practice of communication situations: German as a foreign and second language classes are flexible and take place in a group or one-to-one lessons with individual support and are based on your wishes and requirements. The teaching of content and topics takes place according to the respective language level. I'm an English language teacher for more than 15 years with CELTA ( Cambridge English Level 5 Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages); for sure, my lessons are active and updated. I can work with different levels mostly with adults.
I've been teaching lessons on line since October 2019 using Zoom.
Students' participation is maximised in my language lessons, for sure they are student-centred; in other words, I ensure plenty of student talking time through the use of communicative activities and consistent pair checks, clarifying the target language to an appropriate depth and in a student-centred way.

Since I learn languages myself, I know the difficulties and hurdles that can arise when learning a foreign language. I take away your fear of using the German language, because the best way to learn a language is to speak it!

You want to take a telc or Goethe exam? I will help you! I teach from level B1 to C2. In the course of my teaching I have specialised in students and adult learners from the age of 19 who want to take one of these exams for professional or private reasons.

If you only want to prepare orally for an exam with me, I offer conversation lessons where I give you strategies and tips on how to pass the exam. You will do a lot of speaking and learn the phrases that are most important for the exam at your level.

I'll also show you how to integrate German into your everyday life, recommend podcasts, books and series to expand your vocabulary.

Are you looking for a job and need help with your application? No problem, I give you application training, revise your CV with you and write applications together with you. I will also prepare you for your job interviews.

Don't be shy and write to me before you book a trial lesson. Together we will work out a syllabus that is tailored to your needs and goals. We will learn what is important for you at this stage and where I see room for improvement. I adapt each lesson individually to you.

Due to my eight-year stay abroad in Ireland, I have a very good knowledge of English and can also explain something to you in English or Spanish, but in my lessons we almost only speak German together.

Hi! I'm Rodrigo, a Spanish, English, and Japanese language teacher with over 10 years of experience teaching all ages in Japan, Australia, and Poland. I grew up in Chile but have lived in Japan, Australia, and Poland for my studies of Bachelor, Master, and Doctorate, respectively. After 6 years of studies in Japanese, I graduated from the Tokyo University of Foreign Studies, and from the Hokkaido University, majoring in Japanese, Law, and International Relations, respectively. I finished my Masters in International Relations at the University of Melbourne and also hold two diplomas in Teaching and Didactics.

My teaching methods focus on communication, namely listening and talking. I use a variety of resources such as drawings, sounds, and especially games that stimulate students' creativity. I create all my material and tests which I upload on my website.

Learning Spanish is no big deal now, it´s a huge accomplishment. I´m here to help you to learn this marvelous language as easy as possible. I count on a 10 years’ experience of teaching Spanish. Therefore, for whatever reason – travel, apply to university, DELE exams, speaking to family or friends, work, or love- I will guide you along the way, from beginner to advanced.
First of all, I need to know your goal because it would let me design a plan especially for you to help you achieve it. Generally, we will follow the communicative approach. We don’t just dive right into verb tenses or lists of vocabulary words. Instead, I prefer to teach you the ins-and-outs of the Spanish language in a more different way! So, we will be using a variety of resources such as movies, songs, essays, stories, news and interviews, etc.
If you want to know more about me, I should say I´m studying Advanced Hispanic Studies for a PHD degree at the University of Valencia. I hold a master´s degree in General Linguistics and a Bachelor's degree in Spanish Language. As a teacher, I’ve held online classes, face to face classes and several courses at different institutes and the University of Applied Science and Technology in my country of origin, Iran.
