I've been living and working as a Turkish teacher in London for 5 years. I studied Turkish language and literature. I graduated from Kocaeli University in 2009. I have pedagogical proficiency and a Teaching Turkish for Foreigners certificate from Istanbul University.

I have experience at high schools and secondary schools in İstanbul/Turkey for 5 years.

All the collateral will be provided by me. I will give you homework after every lesson and we will check it together.

I use a theory book and an excercise book for my lessons, versions vary according to your level (A1, A2, B1, B2, C1). They're all published by Istanbul University and are called `Turkish For Foreigners`

I also use powerpoint presentations during my lessons. It makes it easier to understand the grammar rules.
My lessons are about grammar, listening, speaking and writing.

Lessons are interactive and fun as I believe a playful approach to learning a new language helps retaining information. Games and other devices such as cards will be be used during the lessons.

It is nice to meet you and I would be more than glad to discuss your learning goals in a trail lesson of 30 minutes so we could know each other better. I have a level 3 award in Education by YMCA, where I have planned and delivered a lesson on the topic Bulgarian alphabet to English students. On the other hand I am currently finishing my study in Bulgarian Linguistics and Literature at the Sofia's university. I spent a few years in England where I have been a Learning assistant for ESOL classes, which is teaching English as a second language. I also have a degree from University of Sheffield in Business Administration.
Before starting the lessons we will have to do an assessment to see the level of the student. Once this is done and our goals are set, even if it is for a few lessons only, we will adapt the student centered methodology. I was born in İstanbul and I lived there. I hold a bachelor degree in cinema and television at İstanbul Şehir University. During my university years, my stories have been published in major Turkish literary magazines. After my graduation I have been specializing in children's book illustration and literature. I founded children's book publishing house in Turkey. The name is Yıldız Tozu Publishing and my books were released. I worked as an editor-in-chief in the company. I was finding books in the world and I was publishing them in Turkish. I am practically and professionally working on Turkish language and literature. Later on, I moved France to continue my education and works about literature and art. Currently, I am learning french.

I have experience in teaching Turkish in years. Furthermore, I speak English very well (TOEFL B2) and French (B1) it is advantage for students who are beginners.

Here my methodology when I teach Turkish:

I will use the grammar books and my presentations, time to time.

For speaking practice: illustrations, daily conversations
For listening practice: Turkish songs, movies, series
For reading practice: news and articles about Turkey (for advance students), stories, picture books (for intermediate students), texts from language books (for beginner and intermediate students.)

If students need to focus specific area like writing etc. I am designing my class according to that.

In addition, it is because I am using broad material about Turkish media, you will be familiar the culture and sociology of Turkey.

I am Russian native speaker and I've been teaching Russian over the last four years. I teach students of all levels, from zero to advanced level, teenagers and adults. Great focus will be on grammar, listening and conversation. After few lessons you will already notice the improvements.

I will start were you are … ABC's, colours, numbers and beginner reading OR reading with comprehension, grammar and sentence structure or just plain communication focusing on pronunciation, tenses, and general grammar.

I have been working as Italian teacher for two years to migrants, for refugee centers and humanitarian corridors in Italy. I have had experience with first literacy and also I have worked with begginers and intermidiate students, who I prepared to Linguistic Certification. I have worked with single student and with groups.

My opinion is “Viva l’intercultura”, that means looking at the person’s linguistic needs. Italian lessons become a space where the cultures meet and match each other, and step by step, the student can build the Italian language. For me, the cultures exchange is very important.

I’d rather to teach with an inductive, interactive, and cooperative method, which focus on communication functions, but doesn’t forget the grammar. I use manuals, worksheets, interactive games, songs and video.

6 years teaching experience, teaching all ages, but specialist with ages 11+ of all levels and with Cambridge/ certificado de idiomas.

My methods are focused on generating a good teacher- student relationship and making classes as dynamic and as interesting as possible. I use a mainly visual approach and encourage as much creativity as possible.

I like to use a combination of articles online plus a variety of presentations which are as interactive as possible. Text books are sometimes used to reinforce certain things taught in class.
