Hello there and nice to meet you! My name is Jade and I'm from the Philippines! A little bit about me for you to know in my leisure time I... usually read books, write poems in my journal and listen to my favorite songs. As a teacher I am patient with my students and passionate about teaching. My work experience helped me to be patient and understand their skill sets so that I could properly guide them in class. As an individual I am very friendly and likes to have meaningful conversations with everyone I meet. For the background of my work, I've had a 2year ESL teaching experience as a TOEIC, IELTS and ESL instructor for foreign students from 5 different countries namely: Korea, China, Japan and Vietnam and a 1 year grade school teaching as a science teacher at Ateneo de Iloilo Santa Maria Catholic School. My ESL classes ranged from face to face formal school setting and online classes. I was able to nurture a deep understanding of my students' culture and mother tongue which helped me develop my skill to be able to assess and adjust my teaching style in every class.
